The Snake River Hunting Club offers bird hunting for grouse, chukar & gray partridge and fall turkey. We also offer limited elk and mule deer hunting. We are located 20 miles northwest of Cambridge, Idaho at the breaks of Brownlee reservoir. We have 7000 acres of private property that is surrounded by Forest Service and BLM lands to hunt for these hardy birds. Most of the terrain is steep but there are some gentle valley floors. The hunter must be in good physical condition to have a successful hunt. |
|
The Snake River Hunting Club charges $150/day/hunter with a two hunter minimum for bird hunting. A $200 deposit is required to hold hunting dates. The remaining fee is required upon entering the property. Checks should be made payable to: Snake River Hunting Club. We offer no services but camping areas, electricity and water are available. If you need to contact by phone call Ben Kerfoot at 208-452-3780 or Dennis Kerfoot at 208-888-0086. All hunters must have a valid Idaho Hunting License. |

Mark Rule(left), from Ontario, OR., harvested this 6x6 bull two miles from the ranch house the opening day of the 2003 rifle season. Billy O'dell(right), passed on another 6x6 in hopes of shooting the 7x7 he spotted the day before the season. The 7x7 bull is still running wild with his cows behind the ranch house. |
